برای بازیابی یک فایل یا دایرکتوری دور انداخته‌شده به مسیر اصلی‌اش استفاده می‌شود.
این دستور بخشی از بستهٔ trash-cli است که ابزار سطل زبالهٔ واسط خط فرمان منطبق با مشخصات سطل زبالهٔ FreeDesktop.org (Trash Specification) را ارائه می‌دهد.
این ابزار نام، مسیر اصلی، تاریخ حذف و مجوزهای دسترسی هر فایل حذف‌شده را به خاطر می‌سپارد.
