برنامه‌ای است که یک فایل تصویر را از قالب PNG به قالب PAT تبدیل می‌کند.

فایل infile.png یک فایل PNG از نوع RGB یا RGBA است؛ فایل \&.pat حاصل بر روی stdout (خروجی استاندارد) نوشته می‌شود.
این فایل می‌تواند به همراه

برای استخراج و خواندن محتوای صفحه نمایش استفاده شود.
